Audience feedback is something that makes me equally excited and nervous. I always like to show off my work when I've been working hard and feel proud of it so showing my rough cut to not only my class but people on the social platform, Facebook and also at my university interview at Coventry as well.
I feel as I said really proud of my work so far and with the feedback I received I feel positive that I'm going in the right direction. In class we gave everyone a mark out of 4; 4 being the highest and I was so happy when I got graded at a 4. There we're comments on my work saying "the smoke grenades are effective and professional" and the "lighting with the contrast of black and white works really well" these made me smile as this was the reaction I wanted.
On Facebook I got more feedback (image below) and although I feel one comment doesn't fully understand my vision, I still appreciate it and it has helped me to see things from a different perspective. Overall the comments are positive and comment on my good work.
At the university interview it was very different to what I expected. We had a group of about 10 people and we each shown our work one after the other as if you would in your normal classroom presenting. This was a really fun, interactive and insightful way of going about interviewing people and I got some very great responses one girl saying "it looks sick, just like a real music video" which did make me laugh and very happy! The university tutors also said how impressed they were with my work and that the like the "sleek aesthetic" of my work, they also commented on things to improve, remove and add which is so helpful for my final cut!
